NasDem Party Congratulates Her Excellency Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and the New Zealand Labor Party on the Victorious Election 2020

New Zealand and Indonesia have been strategic partners. Furthermore, the New Zealand Labor Party has also been a close partner of the NasDem Party.

As we know, New Zealand switched to a mixed member proportional system in 1996, where a party or coalition requires 61 out of 120 Parliament seats (about 48 percent of the vote) to form a government. Today, New Zealand has gone through an extraordinary process of democratic transformation whereby the Labor Party can win an outright majority in Parliament, something that has not happened since New Zealand adopted a proportional voting system 24 years ago.

This time, Her Excellency Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and the Labor Party were able to do so after successfully gaining 64 out of 120 Parliament seats in the recently held elections.

We always hope for the success, health and well-being of PM Jacinda and the Labor Party in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, as well as looking forward to continuing good cooperation between the two parties and nations.

Restoration Greetings!
